Baby Shower Jello Boats

It’s all about the nautical baby! These SailBoat jello treats are sure to be the hit of any shower whether it be a nautical theme or just a bouncing baby boy on the horizon.

The supplies needed for this project are as follows:

Blue Jello

(Colored or patterned paper)
This can be found pretty much anywhere but any sort of craft or hobby shop would be best. They usually sell by the sheets so you won’t have to buy a bunch of material you won’t use.

(Lollipop or Popsicle Sticks)
Most stores that have a baking novelty section would carry both such as Target,Walmart ect.

(Clear Cups)
Any grocery store will carry. Best to use small 9oz for size.

(Scotch Tape)

(Boat)
Optional The boat can be created out of many things. Some people just use the paper the shape the boat. I have also used candy,oranges, mandarins, anything that can hold the shape of the boat.

To create make your jello and distribute it into the cups a little more the half way full and put into the refrigerator to cool and harden.

Cut several right or left triangles out of colored paper depending on which way you would like the sail to point. Tape the lollipop or popsicle stick to the back so it doesn’t show. You can leave a lot of access stick until you get all of you boat but together and see how far up it will sit on top of the water. That’s it! Easy as pie….or Jello :)

Spray , This can be used to create the look of a foaming ruff waves.
